Toowoomba Touch Elite Mixed League was established in 2023 with six open mixed teams and four mixed master teams. The concept of the Elite Mixed League is a series which hosts two divisions of mixed teams (Open and Masters), moving away from the traditional club model, a pool of players is created (based on player nominations) and then from this pool a draft system created, and players are selected into a team sponsored by different local businesses.
