Representative Touch Football

Representative Opportunities

Junior Representative Touch Football offers a fun, competitive environment where players compete against affiliates from across the state.

Players will be coached by some of our best coaches while forming strong friendships across the Toowoomba Touch community. Most importantly, each player will experience significant growth in their fitness, skill level, and overall development.

As this is representative-level competition, players must be able to commit to regular training sessions and all scheduled carnivals. While we place a strong emphasis on creating a positive and enjoyable team environment, consistent attendance at training and carnivals is essential to team success and is therefore compulsory.

The junior representative season will culminate with the Junior State Cup, where 260+ affiliate teams from across Queensland will converge on the Redlands Touch Football fields from July 9–11 for three days of outstanding, high-quality touch football.

Parent Volunteers

Toowoomba Touch Association is a not-for-profit, volunteer-led organisation, and our continued success relies on the support of our community.

We welcome parent volunteers to work alongside our experienced volunteer team and will provide all the support and guidance needed to ensure you enjoy your role.

Volunteering requires only a small time commitment, assisting with tasks such as out working bee, duty officials, or car park marshalling during our major events — the Twisters Cup.

Your involvement plays a vital role in supporting our players and the broader Toowoomba Touch community, and we greatly appreciate your support.

Player Levy and Carnival Fees

The Toowoomba Touch Junior Representative player levy will be approximately $325. This fee includes all registration costs associated with the three lead-in affiliate carnivals held at the Gold Coast, Toowoomba, and Redlands.

Once teams are announced in February, all players will be invoiced by the Toowoomba Touch Association (via Xero). The full balance is required to be paid by Wednesday 1 April.

Uniforms:
All players are required to purchase a playing uniform. This will be an additional cost. A uniform shop will open in mid-February, open for one week only, with uniforms to be ordered and paid for at the time of purchase.

Junior State Cup:
The Junior State Cup player registration fee is payable directly to Queensland Touch Football and will be approximately $85, with payment due in May.

Current Australian Youth Assistant Coach and Australian Men’s 30s representative player, Jordan Dart, will lead our 2026 representative season preparations.

Jordan will be supported by an exceptional team of Player Mentors, who will work alongside and provide ongoing support to our outstanding Toowoomba Representative Coaches.
